Words define us in every aspect of our lives. The way we use those words help us to not only communicate and interact with one another but to help us discover ourselves. Certain words have such a large impact that the sheer remark can cause a great deal of emotions to arise. Emotions that define our actions; actions that define our words, therefore, defining our lives.

Learning who we are can not only enhance the environment in our own lives, but expand into our community around us which can benefit everyone. To accomplish this, we all must better ourselves for the greater good of our community.

Reflecting on my own personal experience, writing has nursed the development of my life since I was very young. Reading stories and immersing myself into these characters allowed my perspective to open up immensely. The idea that a simple combination of words can cause such a powerful swirl of emotions inspired me to use that power to create an uproar on major issues throughout the world.

In my attempt to achieve the success I foresee, a career in journalism has been my path since I was 12. I crave the adventure of going out into the world, into different countries and communities, to learn how they function and how certain major issues affect them. To have the capability to make any sort of change to help fix their problems is exhilarating just to think about.

Writing has been and always will be a part of my life that is going to make a difference in communities everywhere. I want to write about invigorating events that happen in the streets, the sad stories of those who have nothing, the success stories of those who have completed the impossible. I want to bring people to tears over miracles, create joy where some seem to have lost hope, construct friendships where there is hate.

Words have such a powerful gift that most underestimate and fail to see that it encompasses our lives entirely. It makes a difference in our daily lives with newspapers, magazines, books, billboards, and so much more. If I can write influential articles and papers on things that actually matter to our community, I could create a possible wave of change for not only myself, but for everyone.

As a writer, I think of every possible scenario that could pan out with myself, with people around me, or even a complete stranger. I think of the good in people and hope that the bad never happens. I think that I can do anything and that I can make the world a better place using such compelling words that people will have to listen and read and make a change. I believe that words are what is going to change the world entirely.
