Where I see myself in 10 years by Dez - December 2015 Scholarship Essay

In 10 years I would love to be coming home from a long day of work at my law firm. I will be driving up to my small house, with a large amount of yard, looking over to see my 10 be hives decorated and placed in my yard. I will shut my car door and be greeted by my husband and my three foster dogs, Vanilla, Chocolate, and Milky Way. I will go into my house and relax on the couch with my husband while going over my emails to see if anyone emailed me about adopting the three precious dogs I will foster. I plan on fostering dogs to try to give them another chance. It is scary not having a home, so at least fostering these dogs will give them a home with people who will care for them until their true owner can come and get them.
In 10 years, I don’t see myself with kids. Unfortunately, my body is not set up to have kids, so I will just mother lots of dogs instead! I will have my own different family consisting of many dogs and a husband. I have always had a strong passion for dogs, and if I am able to help a dog’s life in a positive way, I will go out of my way to do so.
