My Ultimate Goals For Where I See Myself In The Next 10 Years by Alyson - December 2015 Scholarship Essay

My ultimate goal for myself 10 years from now is to be happy. However, to me happiness means many things. One thing I plan to accomplish that will lead to great happiness is to have a job that I enjoy waking up to every day, where I can apply my education, unique skills and characteristics to reach positive outcomes each and every day. I plan to work hard to reach each goal I set for myself in my field, as well as cooperate with other work members to make sure I give the company or organization I work for a positive product each day. Having a job I love and am passionate about will also lead to my goal of being financially stable in the next 10 years. This is not the root of all happiness for me, but it will help me accomplish and better others, and myself, which will lead to accomplishments.
Another component to my goal in 10 years is to have great friends and family by my side to support and encourage me professionally and socially in being a better person in my future. I think that this support is the most important thing someone can have in their life. Family and friends are extremely important to me and I hope to be able to support them and vice versa.
The first step in achieving these goals in the next 10 years is receiving a valuable education. Without that, I cannot achieve the goals I have as being apart of an organization that allows me to have a great job and to improve. Each class I attend will lead me to one step closer in achieving my goals and improving myself so that I can fully utilize all of the opportunities my future has. This education and skills I learn throughout college will directly result how much effort I can offer in my future career. If I cannot offer new and intelligent factors in a job I have in the future, I cannot positively affect an organization. This is why my education is extremely important to getting me where I need to be in my future. I am majoring in Marketing and International Business, so I believe that in order to do great in this field, I need to have a beneficial education and work experience before I can fully give my all to a company. That is what I plan to do to achieve all of my goals in the next 10 years.
