Where Do I See Myself 10 Years From Now? by Alexandria - December 2015 Scholarship Essay

In ten years, I see myself working in a hospital nurturing newborn babies. It has always been my dream to work with babies, but I never knew what profession I would choose. In fact, it was just last year when I made the decision that I would become a Neonatal Nurse.
My ambition is one of my many factors that will help me reach my goal in becoming a nurse. Since I'm certain that this is what I want to do for the rest of my life, I'll work my butt off to do it. There will be no laziness or slacking because I know my choices will effect my career as well as other aspects of my life. Not only will I be disappointed, but my family and friends as well. If at any point I choose to be lazy, all my hard work and effort towards my goal would be feckless.
Some of the classes I am currently taking and have already taken will definitely be beneficial for me in the long run. Not only the classes, but the grades I maintain in those classes as well. I'm positive that if I showed nearly as much aspiration in college as I did in high school, achieving my goal would be no issue. I must also remember that no matter how dreadful college may get, I must keep pushing in order to receive my degree with contentment.
