Certified Tutor

I am a graduate from A.T Still University where I received my Doctorate degree in Health Education with business administration. I also received a Master's degree in Health Administration with minor in Science at the University of Phoenix.
I love helping students achieve their maximum potential and fulfill their goals, encouraging them to excel in their abilities. I have worked with students for 15 years in all levels of teaching, from 4th-6th grade science and math, middle school math, and high school life skills along with providing tutoring. I have worked with students to prepare them for the college entrance exams or advanced courses, demonstrating beyond their level and bringing great satisfaction.
As a tutor, I love the subjects of basic math and science because it is the foundation of more complex problems at other levels. It is important to have the proper knowledge of the basics to excel at other levels. My teaching philosophy revolves in that each student is unique where student-centered learning is imperative, yet encourage each one to become an active learner providing an environment where they are stimulated to grow mentally, emotionally, and socially as they are guided to achieve their full potential.
In my spare time, I love to read different genres to expand and enrich my life, watch basketball, football, or baseball on TV, play with the dogs, and especially love spending family time with my spouse and kids
