I support learning for everyone at any age!! My name's Alexis, but you may call me Lexy. I am a 32 year old transplant from NY, where I graduated from CUNY Lehman College. I majored in English Literature but also excelled in histories, social studies, art, and math/pre algebra. I also have experience with YTT training for yoga instruction. However, my interests have expanded to much more as now I am currently studying coding, computer programming, and analytics at TripleTen. If you need assistance in that subject, I do have some awesome resources to share with you! Like many of you, I also had to stay especially diligent in school due to being neurodivergent. I also cope with ADHD and anxiety, so I completely get the frustration and feelings of being overwhelmed and/or out of place. Students like you have given me the inspiration and drive to turn my love of learning and teaching into a (hopefully) life-long career. I'm here to help you grow as a student and, in return, help myself grow in this industry as well. At the moment, I hold a position as project manager for a plumbing company but I didn't always have a career. I actually started my professional life as a bartender as I worked my way through three different colleges. Needless to say, I've had to take a few detours before getting to the correct destination and I still have a long route ahead of me but I just keep moving forward while making sure to have fun every step of the way. There's always so much to experience in the journey so remember to never stop learning!

On my time off, you could find me coding, reading all the things, writing notes or short stories, practicing yoga, gardening, kissing cats!!!, collecting organizational tools and magnets, tinkering with new apps and AI features, beachside, exploring the city at night, or dancing to the beat of my own drum.
