My name is Derek, and my most defining quality is that I love to learn new things. This extends to helping others in their problem areas and even learning something new from them sometimes. I have an intensive love of all disciplines within mathematics and statistics and hope that through hard work and dedication that I can make a difference in many students' lives. I am currently working towards a Master's Degree in Applied Statistics at RIT. After I received my Bachelor's in Applied mathematics and statistics from Stony Brook University, I began teaching at Mathnasium in addition to private tutoring in all levels of mathematics.
