Certified Tutor

Hello, my name is Gabriel! I am graduate of Georgia Tech where I majored in Biology with a minor in Earth and Atmospheric Sciences. I have currently been tutoring in the Atlanta area and online for the past six years. I specialize in college admission exams such as the SAT and the ACT. I am very familiar with both of these tests, and, as a high school student, I was even recognized as my school system's STAR Student for having the highest SAT within my county. As such, I am very familiar with the format and the concepts covered on each of the exams.
I work hard to provide each of my students with a personalized plan that addresses their own strengths and weaknesses. To do this, I often asses student's previous test scores and administer my own diagnostic exams to see what areas a student needs the most help in. Over the past six years, this approach has helped dozens of students achieve their personal goals. I have seen scores rise by double digits in individual sections of the ACT, and I have seen SAT section scores rise by over two-hundred points.
In addition to tailoring my students' lessons to fit their needs, I also provide additional resources to aid my students outside of our sessions. I encourage students to pursue knowledge outside of our sessions, and I provide the necessary resources for them to be able to continually improve their own understanding of the concepts covered.
