After raising my own children, I decided to go back to school and get a teaching degree. I graduated Trinity Christian College with an elementary education degree having endorsements in English, science, and social studies. I also earned an ESL certification. I love teaching online! I have 5 years of online experience teaching students from 5-15 years old one on one tutoring sessions. My desire is to make a personal connection with each student; then use that connection to build the groundwork for a successful student/teacher relationship. I customize each lesson to fit the student's personal needs and learning goals. I welcome adult English learners as well. I specialize in conversational & written English skills. In my spare time, I enjoy reading, cooking , gardening and relaxing at home with my poodle, Ellie. I volunteer weekly in the children's ministry at my local church. I love it! I also work part time as a dental hygienist.
