I tutored middle school science in the classroom and had a really great time working with the students, getting to know them, and helping them to grasp new ideas and concepts. It was a joy to watch them learn and share the pride they exhibited in their newfound knowledge. One method I found to be particularly effective was to break complex concepts down into simpler parts and help the student to organize those parts in a way that made more sense to them.
