Technology: A Positive Impact On My Classroom Experience by Quinn - January 2020 Scholarship Essay

Technology at my school has always been up to date. At Treynor, it is a priority, to have the best technology in the area, to further advance our learning. There have been numerous times where technology has positively impacted my classroom experience.
I am enrolled in a Media Communications class at my school, that uses technology every day. We create the school yearbook, make podcasts, and create articles that are posted to our school's web-page. Without technology, we wouldn't be able to do half of the things that we have to do during this class. Technology provides us with different tools to push ourselves to be better than we were on our last assignment. For example, I have started using my Chromebook and a graphic design website, to start making graphics for our school's sports teams. Each time I have gotten onto that computer, I have wanted to make a better graphic design than I have the last time. Technology and its advances have made me a better student and a better graphic designer/journalist. Without technology, my classroom experience would not be as innovative as it would be with it.
Technology is one of the main reasons that being in a classroom is one of my favorite things to do. Technology in classrooms has improved my learning and made me want to be a better student. My classroom experience wouldn't be the same without technology.
