I believe that technology has positively impacted my classroom. Now a day, technology is used all over the world. It’s everywhere inside or outside school. When talking about classroom, technology has played an important role throughout the school years. Without technology, it would be a lot harder for teachers and students. With that said, not every student speaks english. In addition to that, the teacher would have a hard time explaining to those students.
Without technology, students who are english nonspeaker would have a really difficult time. For example, when teachers are showing them big vocabulary, they would just look at it and feel useless. However, because we have the technology, teachers can use technology and look it up to show them a picture of it. If not, we have google translate because of technology. I believe that not every student would carry around dictionary books of their languages translate to english. Hence, technology is great. If you want to google translate, you can just go on the computer. Another example would be category such as google classroom, google docs, and so on. This is used in student’s everyday life. It’s a lot easier for both students and teachers to communicate through technology. Which is why we have google classroom. Teacher can just post assignment and grade works there. If students have an essay written on google docs or word microsoft, they can just email it to the teacher. No need to do all printing unless it is asked by the teacher.
Not every student has a good handwriting which is hard to read and understand. However, we have the technology to save us. We have the laptop or computer or cellphone to type out our writing. Last but not least, our school’s smart board is also a technology and our smart board has played an important role in the classroom. To be teaching so many students, it’s hard if there are no smartboard. Smart board can help make words smaller or biggers. Smart board can be seen by all students.
In conclusion, I believe that technology has positively impacted my classroom a lot. Because of technology, it’s easier to keep track of things. Because of technology, there’s a higher rate of english non speaking student’s graduating, due to the help of translating. Because we have the technology, communication between teachers and students are easier and efficient.
