As I enter the college world I have many goals I would like to achieve. Graduating high school and being accepted in college was one great step towards my goals. My family has been a great support system, and they have raised me to believe the sky is the limit. I want to make the best life I can make. I dream big and I will reach all my goals with hard work and drive.

This fall I will attend the University of Alabama going pre-med working toward a biochemistry degree. I also plan on attending graduate school, and move on to medical school. My choice to major in the medical field is to obtain the knowledge and experience to build a career as an obstetrician. My ultimate goal is to learn how to help women medically and bring new lives into the world. I find it fascinating to be able to learn about the female anatomy, and help bring new born babies to families. When it comes to science and the human body I'm driven to learn more, and becoming a doctor will give me the opportunity to learn and experience.

In addition to my educational/career goals, one very big dream I have is to run track and field at a collegiate level. For about ten years now I have been running, and I have come to love the sport, and it is a very big part of the person I am. I've always dreamed of taking part in the Olympic Games. I hope to be apart of Alabama’s track and field team and just become a better athlete.

I believe my drive and my work ethic can bring me to achieve anything on the track and in the classroom. Having the opportunity to attend college and work toward my goals is one accomplishment in itself. I hope this opportunity will help me forward in accomplishing my goals.
