Being involved in the community is something that I hold true to my heart it defines me inside and outside. People should consider being part of their community and a leader in their life. It has impacted my life for the better and still to this day I am involved in organizations. One of the organizations that have defined me is the Scouts BSA (Boy Scouts of America). Since 2010 I have been involved in scouting through cub scouts I learned how to craft a pinewood derby car and boats. Learning what it was like to sell popcorn to the community made an impact on how to raise money. Earning the belt loops help me grow my knowledge. Camping outside gave me something to love about nature and respect the laws of leave no trace. When growing older I became a Boy Scout in 2012 I knew I wanted to become Eagle since the day I joined. I learned more stuff in Scouts than I could learn in the "real world". The BSA defined me as a leader working hard at merit badges, Camping and Making friends along the way. The BSA book tracks progress and the on thing held me back was the swimming merit badge it took me 4 years to earn that one merit badge that was challenging and showed how much I improved. BSA has many merit badges to try and shows that you have to work hard to receive what you want. 48 merit badges 6 rank badges and many hours, many failures, and many friends I became Eagle in 2018 and was honored to be with the fellow Eagle Scout of the Past 100 years.
