Leadership, it is a powerful word. It means to lead, guide, and to have power among people. Leadership can be used for everyday life. People can use it at work, home, and even school. Leadership can even help you be successful in college!

In college, a young student will have to lead their own life during a time they are away from their family. They have to take leadership within their own college life to get them to study, to pass classes, and to strive to get better. Leadership can also be a helpful trait during group projects. Leading a group project will give the student experience in leading a team to do great on their work. It would also give the student confidence in their ability to lead not only group projects, but a sports team they participate with, and clubs they are in.

Leadership can lead a person to do and accomplish great things. It all starts in college, when the student is on their own for the first time. Leadership skills are necessary for college success. Great leadership skills begin in college. It builds confidence for a student and will get them to strive for bigger and better grades. Leadership skills are absolutely necessary for a student to be successful in college.
