It’s 11:00pm on Sunday night. You have an English paper due by midnight, a test at 7:50am tomorrow morning, you still haven’t touched that history reading that was assigned last week and you’re beyond exhausted from the weekend. You were going to stay in on Friday night to get everything done until your friend called, asking if you wanted to go out – you told yourself that you would have enough time later this weekend because the assignments didn’t seem too hard. Next thing you know, Saturday’s gone and your homework is still untouched. You decide to have dinner with your family then start your homework, with plenty of time to watch a movie before you go to bed. That was hours ago and you’re still not done… this is going to be a long night.

I think everyone can relate to this scenario because at some point in our education we have underestimated the time it would take us to complete a task for school. Everyone wants to go out and have fun but they end up putting their priorities in the wrong place, leaving themselves with no time for school. This is why time management is vital in college.
