My Biggest Accomplishment by Montana - December 2016 Scholarship Essay

It's hard to be a wonderful person to everyone around and it's even harder to be rewarded for being such an amazing person. My eighth grade year in middle school it was that time of year again for our annual award ceremony. Only the people receiving an award were able to attend. This was not my first year attending. I attended the award ceremony every year because of my studious grades.
Every year every mini-school had to pick the most outstanding student in the entire mini-school and I always wanted it to be me because the trophy was so magnificent. It was my eighth grade year and I was tired of getting the same award and I was such an amazing student to everyone and made sure everyone had a friend. I worked my hardest to earn that award!
They already called the names of everyone receiving their award except for the outstanding student which was always last. I was very nervous because it was time for my mini-school to announce their winner. The teacher walked up to the stage and gave a speech about the person they chose and when she finished her last word my hard jumped because she had said my name.
My eyes were widened because I was so suprised I won I didn't think someone would every award me with such a prize. My parents were very ecstatic and suprise their very own daughter was so outstanding. When I got home I emailed all of my teachers to tell them how appreciated I was they picked me out of 100 plus students. It was the best night of my life that year.
