If I had the opportunity to give an education TED Talks I would speak about why college should be cheaper and the simple solution to how this could possibly be solved. I have personally always known how ridiculous college loans are but now as a college student with a very real inevitability to pay these loans, it is going to take years to pay off.
First, why should college be cheaper? Because, it’s edication the one thing this country will never stop reminding us that is important however, they saw we must pay this high numbers that no one but the rich can pay start out of college. And, I don’t think I am exaggerating ask almost anyone on the street if they could afford college and most would probably say no. This is because there living conditions can’t afford the money, you may ask why not get a loan but that is all you are doing is extending the pay and in some casing increasing the back. Next, the divide between rich, poor and how that relates to how probable it would be for a student to stay in college. All anyone has to do is lookup articles about this gape to get all the information about this. Students from high-income families are more likely to get bachelor’s degrees or master’s than those from low-income families because they can afford them. College should be cheaper because it would give a better more equal opportunity to those who can’t afford it.
Now, since I spent most of this essay stating my point now it’s time to present my suppose simple solution. My solution, this to recommend the government to spend their more more evenly instead of spending a good amount on military. Most people will know how the government spend almost everything and anything on the military but recently started dropping the military to help other sections which is great but we still as a country spend the most money on military which doesn’t make any since. We want protection yes, but if you keep funding protection you fuel others getting hostile in reference the Cold War. We should instead spend some of that money in education something we all agree is important.
In conclusion, college is important however the cost for college often makes people question whether or not it is worth all the debt. To fix this we should better manage our money.
