Do you consider yourself a leader in your community or circle? Well anyone can be a leader, but in order to achieve that you need to have certain qualities and traits. However, I think that one specific trait stands out to me; Integrity.
By definition, integrity means being honest and having strong moral principles. To me this means that integrity leads to being humble,being patient, a great communicator, honest, organized and always tries to be joyful.
Now explaining each principle in detailed; starting off being humble will allow you to see yourself within the people your´re leading and it will help make everyone feel included and that they do matter. Next, being patient lets a leader make better decisions and keep things under control. A good communicator knows how to speak to people correctly and wants to talk to people this makes people feel comfortable. Moving forward, being honest allows people around you to trust you and this can also allow people to open up to you more. Having good organizational skills will overall help you reach your goal and be successful. Lastly, being a joyful leader will let people appreciate you more and help everyone always have a good attitude towards the ending goal.
All things considered, I think we can agree on the fact that the trait integrity best describes a successful leader. Now back to the question; are you really a leader?
