My goal is to focus on being the best me that I can be in order to be of service to others. “I want to be the very best like no one ever was.” (Pokemon) That quote may be taken from a silly cartoon but it speaks volumes. It’s referring to someone who wants to do anything and everything in order to become the best. Even if that means training six hours a day for a marathon, reading every single book ever made on a specific subject of a desired course, or making a challenge to climb the highest mountain to become stronger mentally and physically. I believe our main goal as human beings is to be better and strive to do better. So as I study my courses for this semester, I will be thinking of how I can make this essay greater or that project a little more impressive. I will be determined to not only pass all of my classes but to seek extra credit in order to receive a 4.0 grade point average. An A is okay but an A plus is always better.
I am majoring in Education so that means I will be helping to shape the future of society with my career choice. I want to teach children that they should never settle for anything but always strive for a better outcome. In the dictionary, a goal is described as “a desired result that a person or a system envisions, plans and commits to achieve.” Once that goal is achieved, I want my students to move on towards a higher goal so that they can build a brighter future for themselves and for others.

In order to achieve my goal, I plan to eat well, sleep well, pray, study, and exercise. If I take care of my body physically, I will have the energy and nutrients to sustain a good mental health for my life. God gave me the ability to grow and to always want more for myself. In return, I will show my appreciation by using every ability that I was blessed with to strive to be someone that is motivated to become a person with greatness that shows others the potential they may not see in themselves. In conclusion, my goal is to never stop making goals.
