In my opinion, the purpose of education is to help to get to the occupation that you want to pursue. It also helps in general to know how to communicate with others, and do basic things. Education helps to read and write which are part of the basics that people need in life. Even though there are those who have not gotten an education and still succeeded in life, but that is very rare and they are really smart. People get more knowledge about things, develop a bigger vocabulary,and help to become more mature in life. Even reading helps to do this which is a form of developing a vocabulary.

Education goes such a long way, without the proper education, our society wouldn't have doctors, and lawyers, and teachers, and all of the other professions there are in life that help others survive. Surgeons wouldn't be able to do advanced operations that we have today, there would not be an advanced cure for alot of diseases that lurk in our society today. Education is important because whether people accept the fact or not, it helps our world go round and helps us to bit just a bit more healthy.

Education is important also because in these days, it is extremely hard to get a decent job to provide for a family or even just yourself all the time. Everyone wants to get somewhere in life and education is just the first step to getting to the next place.
