The Fundamental of Social Organization by KeShawn - September 2019 Scholarship Essay

When it comes to extracurricular activities, one may automatically refer to sports as a number one factor. However, many individuals fail to realize that participating in other organizations such as clubs can place a positive impact among not only students but their outside peers as well. Social clubs reflects a good way to create positive impacts among various people in order to change not only one but many lives. Creating an organizational group with several opinions and powerful minds is a beneficial way to lead the world and several environments into healthier habits.
Many individuals are unaware of what is happening globally to several environments. For example, one of the main harmful attributes to our environment is pollution. Fresh water is crucial to the lives that are here on Earth. However, us humans have become the main factor of pollution due to our human activities that we pursue year round. Pollution is one of the main factors that affects not only our lives but always marine lives. Water pollution has become a highly common issue in our day of age simply due to human laziness to just simply walk to a nearby trash can. Due to littering, these objects that are being placed into our oceans and fresh bodies of water are easily killing the lives of marine animals. Creating a social club to address these situations to young individuals can lead to the face of new beginnings that can be helpful. With the continuation of water pollution, lakes can be acidic which may eventually lead to the result of acid rain. By individuals simply placing a bag on the ground they are unaware that they are also harming themselves.
Pollution is far from the only harmful event that is occurring in our world, but by creating an organization where several individuals can build their intelligent ideas off of others can change the way others think about the world. Creating a social club based on environmental issues can raise awareness to those who are unaware around them. As a friend or peer, raising awareness could be by showing articles of harmful events that are occurring. In order to raise awareness around the community, the social club can host an educational rally, social events, or even service projects in order to reconstruct our environment. Not only would I create the extra curricular activity of a social club to raise awareness to our several peers, but to gather those who are not as comfortable expressing themselves to become more open. Many students or young individuals are shy and are not willing to open up to their teachers are sometimes even their parents. Creating a social environment where the student or individual feels safe can even add a positive aspect on that person. Social groups do not all ways have to address issues that are in the environment, but they can also address personal issues that someone is afraid to talk about. Bullying has become a major issue in our day of age that are leading to harmful results. Social organizations where individuals feel safe enough to tell their stories can impact the way others think that can lead to a change into something positive. Raising awareness in social clubs is another way to increase healthy habits in several areas.
Gathering several classmates, friends, or even your family together to create ideas in order to prosper our future can easily become a new face for our environment. Issues such as pollution, bullying, global warming, inequality, or even religious conflicts can all be addressed with the simple creation of social organizations in schools are even in local areas of one's city. Raising awareness is the most important factor in our lifetime due to how corrupt our society is due to people mistreating others and now our animals. The next time one decides to simply place a bottle on the ground, bully their peers, or even judge a person by their religious orientation or the color of their skin, think about how many lives have been transformed into unhealthy habits instead of using a positive attitude in order to reshape our future world into a better place.
