Being the Best Me That I Can Be in 2016 by Kassandra - January 2016 Scholarship Essay
There are a lot of things that I plan on doing this year. One of the most important is trying to be the best me that I can possibly be. By this I mean that I will become as fit and healthy as possible, I will achieve the best grades that I can, I will invest and save money to help pay for college so that I do not have to worry about money as much, and I will be helping out in my community a lot more.
My community will change soon, however, and I do plan on becoming active in my new community at college as well. I plan on promoting good physical and mental health in my communities, such as, getting enough sleep, exercising, eating well, socializing with people, and becoming involved in activities to make friends and have low stress.
I go to the gym every day and eat as healthy as a teenager with parents who provide and choose the food can. I believe that fitness is really important in life because it keeps you strong. Exercising lets out endorphins that give you more energy and make you happy. I love exercising because it helps make me feel less stressed.
I have always been a great student, but I feel as though living in a dorm and being surrounded by a community that actually wants to go to school every day will help a lot with keeping focused.
