Organization by Kailyn - September 2014 Scholarship Essay

I believe that organization is the key to a bright future, as well as a clean dorm room! In college, students get wrapped up in upcoming finals, tests, bills, etc. An unorganized student is more likely not to care, or lose important items. An organized student is usually civil and even calmer because they have control of what is going in in their life. An organized student can more easily develop study techniques to help them through college.

There are always those kids that put their papers for the day in their textbook, or a random notebook. The following day comes around, and they realize their assignment paper they stayed up working on all night has fallen out of their textbook, now gone forever. If you stay organized, you will always know where that paper you worked so hard on is at, or know when that upcoming test is.

College is already crazy expensive as it is in our world today, so why would you want an extra late fee added to your bills for forgetting to pay them? No one wants to be irresponsible. Keeping a planner around at all times can be the first step in maintaining an organized life. Being organized is the key to a successful future, as well as being a successful individual.
