Science should have more emphasis in schools by Justin - November 2021 Scholarship Essay

I believe that science deserves more emphasis in schools because science can take you places, and could even guarantee you a well-paying job. Science is intellectual activity surrounding the study of the nature world through observations and experiments. I was researching about the top 100 most paying jobs, and I came across a cardiologist being the number one paying job. A cardiologist is a doctor specialized in the study of heart abnormalities or heart diseases. A cardiologists focuses on the biology, chemistry, and physics which all correlates to the course of science.
Science deserves more emphasis in schools because most people think it's boring when it should be interesting because it's studying of the world around them and humans. For example, biology is the study of anatomy, organisms, and distribution which seems interesting to me because I like to learn about humans and animals with the different features that they have that allow them to live. One subject that I dislike the most is social studies because I just think it requires too much thinking about the present, past, and the future; that's just not amusing to me. Science could make students come out of their environmental classrooms and notice the different values of life science could create. In addition, they could also notice nature, sound, and structure or atoms; it doesn't always have to involve in life that makes science interesting.
Overall, science deserves more emphasis because it gives students the chance to earn a high-paying job. They could make way more money than being a fast-food worker or being an engineer. Also, they could even save lives and the lives of their family members and friends. They could make a change in the world with science.
