How does technology have a positive impact in the classroom? In current day living I believe that technology is a modern day classroom tool. I am a senior in high school, although we have a new technology policy there are days where we can use: cellphones, tablets,or computers. Having access to technology in modern day I believe is important because we can keep up with modern day media. Technology is a source that has a vast resource that can be used in any subject.
To start, I have used my cell phone in class many times to do research on an array of subjects. One subject that we are constantly using technology is AP U.S. Government. We relate back to current day events such as Trump's impeachment. We have done research on whether it is reasonable also, we have related it back to the last president being Bill Clinton. Although, it is a controversial topic for classroom discussion it is important to talk out the notable mistakes. Another class I use computers quite often is AP Ceramics. I use the computer in that class to further my research on 3d design aspects and different techniques to apply to my art work.
Furthermore, I would like to talk about why I believe technology is the best classroom resource. Whether it is for research or a helpful hand to homework it is a multi use resource that can come in many different forms. I believe that it has a positive impact on classroom work because I believe your teachers and peers are helpful but the internet has so much more information on any topic that is researched. For a personal experience I find myself using the internet to help with classroom communications. Researching on what our current discussions are about are crucial to me because being up to date and ready to be called on is important. Always being ready to have a classroom discussion can radiate to having a positive and impactful talk amongst your peers.
Lastly, what is the positive impact that technology manifests in the eyes of students? As a student myself even typing this essay I am using a laptop to type this essay. Although, this is not a classroom tool currently filling out college applications and scholarships can later translate to me being in a college classroom. Technology and class work coincide in so many ways that can be very impactful to ones life. Technology can take one person very far in knowledge whether it is for classroom discussions to future research such as college. Technology is such a universal tool for a classroom.
In conclusion, technology in the modern day I believe it is the most beneficial tool in or out of the classroom. It is a tool that is so universal for classroom activity whether it be for homework or research on what is being taught in class. Technology is now so advanced and available to many people that it really is the best tool in modern day. That is why I believe that technology is a positive learning tool in modern day.
