Solving The Formula to Success
“Anyone can become anything.”
"You can become whatever you put your mind to."
"If you want to become the next doctor, president, or firefighter all you have to do is believe you can."
These are cliches we all hear in reference to achieving goals. We hear them so often that we become numb to the truth that lies within each inspirational cliche. The truth of the matter is that these statements are true. The discerning factor is that they are much easier said than done. If we take a look at some of the most successful humans on the planet: Athletes, musicians, actors, business owners they are no different than us. We look at them as being "born gifted", the reality of the situation is that nobody is born equipped with the skills they need for instant fame. Rather success is born from within. From repetition after repetition. From countless hours and hours of work put into your craft. From heart breaking failure that you refuse to let stand as failure. When you look at the equation for success it is quite simple. It is said by many experts that 10,000 hours is the amount of time it takes master a skill. That's roughly working on your skill or passion for five hours everyday for five years. While others are out spending their time watching youtube, going to parties, playing video games, these people have a very specific focus to follow. The people putting hours and hours into their craft are the ones who understand that others out there are working to get to where they want to be. They understand that one day of hard work wasted will set them back behind the competition. It is these people that become the true success stories in life. You might be saying to yourself. “Man that sounds easy, I can do that” The reality is that even after watching this video most people still won't get up and get their focus together for their future. The hard part of success is finding your “Why?” Your why will drive you to success. It is thing that will keep you running when you have no fuel. It will keep you motivated when you have motivation. It will help you up when you've fallen down. When you are going out and working to achieve your “Why?” everyday you are far more likely to be successful than someone who has no “Why?”
The formula for success is 10,000 hours put into your craft. The calculator is the blood, sweat, and tears that are used to mold yourself into a master of your art.
The answer is the success you achieve by solving the equation.
