If I had endless time and money, I would focus my efforts on tackling one of the most challenging and heartbreaking issues we face today: homelessness. As someone studying architecture, I've learned just how much our surroundings impact our lives. A home is more than just a building; it's essential for feeling safe, stable, and respected. I believe everyone deserves a safe place to sleep, free from the dangers of the streets or overcrowded shelters. With my knowledge in architecture, I would create housing solutions that do more than provide a roof over people's heads—they would offer hope and a fresh start.

My top priority would be to build safe, beautiful, and affordable housing communities for people experiencing homelessness and those in underprivileged areas. Often, affordable housing is neglected, lacking inspiration and quality. I want to change that narrative. My designs would focus on creating spaces that are not only functional and budget-friendly but also welcoming and environmentally friendly. Everyone—no matter their financial situation—deserves a place they can take pride in calling home.

These communities would be more than just buildings; they would serve as places of support and connection. I would use my resources to include important services like mental health support, job training programs, community kitchens, gardens, libraries, and recreation areas right in the neighborhoods. People need more than just a home; they need access to resources, education, and a feeling of belonging.

I also believe that good design can help with healing. Many people facing homelessness have experienced trauma, so I would ensure that my designs create calm and comfortable spaces. Features like natural light, good airflow, soundproofing, and connections to nature would be key elements.

In communities that lack funding, I would work to improve old infrastructure and enhance public spaces to create environments that feel safe and inviting. I would partner with locals to understand their needs rather than imposing my ideas on them. Helping communities shape their own spaces is crucial for lasting change and success.

Ultimately, I want to use my education to do more than just build buildings; I want to help build brighter futures. With unlimited time and money, I would strive to ensure that every person, no matter their background, could live in a safe, beautiful, and supportive environment. That’s the impact I hope my work would achieve in the world.
