The best piece of education advice that I have ever had is to never give up. I was told by many that no matter what happens I shouldn't give up. This helped me by giving me a reason to keep trying. It has helped me with applying for colleges, going for the degree I want the way I want it, applying for scholarships and grants, and it has helped me with my grades.

When I was about to graduate high school, I was under the impression that I would not be able to go to college. I did not think that any colleges would accept or that I would be able to get any financial help. My family, teachers, and counselor kept telling me that I need to try anyways. They said that I was giving up to easily. They convinced me that I would be able to find a college and find financial help if I didn't give up.

After I was convinced of this, I felt like I would be accepted by colleges and get the financial aid that I needed. I applied for the college that I wanted to start at, and I was accepted. Then I applied for financial aid and received a grant and a scholarship.

I have since been persistent on getting the degree in accounting that I want. I want to get my degree online and I was having a hard time finding a public college that would do this. I kept calling colleges and finally found one that has my degree online. If I hadn't been told not to give up in high school, then I might have given up finding a college with my degree online.

My grades have also been affected by this. I have never had a problem with my grades, but I thought that they would get go down when I went to college. Since I was convinced not to give up, my grades didn't go down. Instead every time I did bad on a assignment, I would just try harder on the next one.

I am very grateful that I received the advice to never give up. I think that it is one of the best pieces of advice that a person can receive if they use it.
