Some might say my school has a negative image. With its known fights and number of dropouts, people might not think highly of us. And with the number of students getting into trouble when it comes to their grades, we might even be labeled as a 'poor-performing school,' But I strongly disagree.

I am determined to prove others wrong about my school. I am a student achiever. One who focuses on her studies. I work hard to have straight As. I am able to prove that there are students in my school who diligently work to have a bright future. I am involved in the sports program. People may think that it is difficult to also be involved in sports. I am able to show others that I can balance my academics and extracurricular activities. I also involve myself in clubs that the school offers. I do my best to help the school, for example, fundraisers. I am able to show others that there are students who care, work hard, and help others. Because of my enthusiasm, I have very supportive teachers because they know I strive to be the best I can be.

This energy is not just in me. My peers and classmates have that same. I surround myself with good company as I also try to be a good influence to them in order to inspire others. It is known that positivity is contagious. If I am positive and optimistic in my studies, I can influence others to be the same. I believe nothing is impossible with determination. Finding good balance in academics, sports, clubs, and social interactions proves this. I am full of enthusiasm, not indifference.

I show that my school has students who go after every great opportunity, achieving what they can. I go beyond what is expected of me because this is for my own progress and for the inspiration of others.
