There are many skills that are beyond necessary to have and accomplish in order to be a successful college student. One of the most important skills that a college student can have is the ability to be a leader on and off the field, or in this case, the classroom.

Anybody can say they are good at something, but a true leader makes sure everybody gives their full potential and is just as good because that way everybody is able to work together in order to improve the overall progress of the classroom as a whole. It's incredible to see how much better a class flows when everybody is in the same page, and a leader has not only the ability, but the desire to make that happen. A true leader has a tremendous amount of dedication to the subject, and that dedication can inspire everybody else. When everybody else is inspired, there's competition between people to be the best, and when people constantly strive to be the best, amazing things can happen.

This is why leadership is such a crucial part of being a successful college student. At the end of the day, it's a team situation. That is the way it will be in the real world when college students get real jobs. There has to be a leader. Anybody can be a boss, but a true leader makes sure everybody is dedicated, inspired, and able to follow directions in a way that will improve the company and everybody's work ethic.
