My plan for the next 10 years by dkhosravinezhad@gmail.com - March 2020 Scholarship Essay

In order to achieve the goal of becoming a Computer Engineer, I first need to get at least a bachelor's degree from Georgia Tech by enrolling in Georgia State for 2 years and transferring over to Georgia Tech and finishing my other 2 years there. During my time in school, I'm also planning on taking part in any internship programs that I can be part of in order to get some experience and get a better understanding of how a computer works as well as how a Computer understands what certain electric pulses correlate to and so on.

Once I’ve graduated and got my bachelor’s in Computer Engineering, I’ll work for a company specializing in producing computer components and innovating new and efficient CPU’s, RAM, Graphics cards, etc. while also getting experience to work my way up to the larger companies like Intel or AMD and potentially some Titans in the electronics industry such as Apple or Microsoft. While I’m working in those companies. I will be going to school in order to get my Masters (assuming I haven’t got my Masters already) or potentially a Ph.D. in Computer Engineering in order to improve myself in becoming a better Computer Engineer.

At some point down the road, there will be a time where I will want to put some time into doing some research as to how we can upgrade our technology with different resources that are reusable and potentially more efficient than the current metals we are currently using right now. Some ideas I had in mind of trying to advance our technology would be inventing hologram monitors or figuring out a security protocol for Credit Cards and Debit Cards in order to prevent any theft or overcharging of certain products. My main goal when it comes to becoming a Computer Engineer is to make a difference in the world and to make everyone’s lives better, easier, and more efficient for the sake of a better society and a better future for the next generation of Engineers to come.
