There are many things that have a positive impact on me in the classroom, but technology is by far the most helpful. Finding information is extremely easy with technology because I can look up anything and find quality information with technology. Any information can be found within a matter of seconds, which is truly crazy if you think about how hard it would be to find without technology. There are so many websites I can use that contain information that is vital to my education.
Technology keeps me engaged and entertained opposed to worksheets and repetitive assignments. It enables me to use new websites and programs that encourage my creativity, while still learning new information. There are so many ways to share the information that I have learned, such as Quizlet, Google Drive, Prezzi, presentations, padlets, and story books. Another example, in one of my classes we had to make a workout video that shows which muscles we use during exercise. We used a program that lets you create videos, movies, or trailers in an easy way. This allowed me to show what I had learned from class and review the information at the same time. Technology also makes it much easier to share assignments and information. Most assignments are assigned online through educational programs, which make it extremely easy to turn in assignments. It also gives teachers an easier way to grade my assignments and, so I can see what I’ve done wrong and learn from my mistakes.
