Call me Ms. Manager by Cyrani - June 2017 Scholarship Essay

When I was six years old I was obsessed with ice cream. I was specifically obsessed with chocolate devotion and founder’s favorite from Cold Stone Creamery. It was the only thing I would ever want for dessert when my mom asked me what I wanted. My mom realized that I loved Cold Stone so much that she said that I could own one one day. I was so excited from that day on. The idea of owning my own Cold Stone and eating all the ice cream that I wanted. I would go around telling my family that I was going to go to school to become a manager and then build my own cold stone. I did all the research and you would have to go Cold Stone University and learn about the business and train to be an owner. It really got me excited that after high school I would go to Cold Stone University, not knowing it wasn’t an actual college.
Now fast forward thirteen years and I am currently attending at Tuskegee University planning on majoring in communications and minoring in business administration. Since I’m minoring in business administration would help me start my way to get my own Cold Stone. People always say that no one ever knows what they want to major in because they don’t know what they want to be when they grow up. I was persistent on wanting to eat as much ice cream as I could in my life. It is still one of my goals in life and I tend to follow through with my childhood dream. I am going to own a Cold Stone Creamery in Florida and when I do I will send you the address!
