Whether it was a friend with a bad scrap, my mom with a really bad hacking cough, or a bird with a broken wing I have always wanted to help with the healing process. Early on I wanted to be a veterinarian. I just knew that I was going to save all the animals in the world. Ask my mother, she will tell you of the stories of how I tried. When I was young and set up a mini clinic in my front yard every time one of my friends had an injured pet. Dr. Crystal they called me.

Who would've thought that I would eventually end up working on people instead of animals? Surely not my mother or I. Sometime in High School it switched to being people that I wanted to heal. Going from my own make shift clinic to a real life hospital freshman year was quite a change.

I began interning in the hospital at 15 and continued until I graduated. Now here I am 15 years later still in the hospital. Healing and nurturing people back to health. I am elated by the journey and the continued journey as I grow and learn as much as there is to learn in this field.
