One Study Method, Three different WaysTo Use It!! by Courtney - January 2014 Scholarship Essay

There are many different ways that people can study. Whether it is reading over the notes you have taken, listening to a recorded message of the teacher talking, or by watching videos on how something is done. For me however, I think that making practice test is the best study method to use. The one thing I love most about this method is there are three different ways you can use it.

First, this practice test study method can be used to see how much you really know and in some cases don’t know about the section you’re on. For example, it can help tell you what parts you need to go over more than others. This method helped me see if I really knew the answers to some of the possible questions that could have been on my test before I took it.

Second, if you’re the type of person that has to read to study then this practice test study method is good for you. Once you have your test made out you can just read over the questions and answers as if they were notes.

Third, this methods can also me a pre-study type method as well. Yes, a study before you study method. It makes you have to go over the chapters you’re in to find the questions and answers for your practice test, which will allows you to study even before you get done making it.

People learn in different ways but making practice test and using them in these three ways is the best type of study method I have used. Using this study method has helped me keep a 3.5 and higher grade point average throughout my first year of college and I plan on using it even more next year.
