What aspect of your education are you most thankful for? by Ciara - November 2020 Scholarship Essay

Out of all the important aspects of education, I am most thankful for the widespread opportunities I am able to take part in. Lake View High School gives many great opportunities that we as students are able to become involved in at school.
These options include such things as Dual Credit, AP, and other advanced classes.
These classes will help me get ready for the busy world of college. Dual credit courses will give me a head start on the credits that I need for college as it will prepare me for the expectations I will have as a college student. AP classes make me stay on top of my work, and push myself beyond my limits.
Another important aspect of my education is the people involved in helping become the student that I want to be. One of those, in particular, is my National Honor Society Sponsor Mrs. Hood, as she taught me Dual credit Accounting. She is such an inspiration to me because she shows me to look for the very best in life and explore it. She is such a great teacher and makes the learning experience worthwhile and memorable.
The opportunities that Lake View High School offers has become a huge blessing of mine. These opportunities will prepare me for so much more than just college itself. These aspects will also help me with everyday life. Dual Credit will remind me yes it is hard but there is a reward at the end. AP will remind me that my responsibilities are important and that I need to take care of them. Being a part of the National Honor Society will give me the courage that I need to make a difference in my community and will allow me to be a light in other people's lives.
