My dream classroom by Ashley - July 2020 Scholarship Essay

Well it has been a while since I've actually been to school. I believe my dream classroom would consist of walls a calm color, nothing too dark because the dark colors can be depressing. I would like to see some organization because it makes things easier to focus on the actual learning. Technology is always a plus it would be really cool to see a board that every student can react on in a way that is connected from a tablet. I don't know if that actually exists, but would be really cool. I would also like to have comfortable seating because when you are in the classroom you can get uncomfortable from sitting long periods at a time. Also I would want to be able to have a connection with the students because I think having others opinions matter and help the learning process as well.

I think that all these things matter and being comfortable with your surroundings really does make a difference in your learning. Everyone in school wants to further their career and be successful, all the little things do make a difference. I feel like especially for myself its nerve wracking to go into a new area and not being comfortable is just another issue you will have to deal with. Starting school is scary, at least it is for myself. It's a new place, new people, and you have no idea what to expect so if you could change the surroundings to make it more adaptable to you that what I would do.
