Education really is an incredible tool. It is a tool that can change the rest of your life. It is a tool that can range in many different shapes and forms. Education is the key to the rest of your life.

Everything we do today is revolved around education. What we know, what we can do, and how we apply it. Whether it be a high school or college education, or learning new skills, by educating yourself you can open up new doors that you never thought possible.

I see education as being the most powerful tool a person can have. It is something that gives back what you put into it and in order to be successful in today's society, you need to be as educated as possible. If you ever want to have a successful job and get somewhere or be someone, it is crucial that you put in your time now. Educating yourself now is your investment. Like I said, you get out what you put in.

Much like this essay contest, your "education" or "knowledge" is judged against countless other competitors. Whether it be a job application or a promotion opportunity, your higher up will look at how much you invested into your education. Your education will rank you against your competition.

Right now, myself and millions of other students right now are in a race. This race isn't about time or speed but distance. The students that make it the furthest will get the furthest in life. Getting a job they like that pays well. Students that drop out of the race will fight over the next open position at the local McDonald's.

The purpose of education is really quite simple. The more you have of it, the more doors will open for you. When getting your education, it is crucial to realize and stay focused on your future investment because one day, you will need that education to shoot you to the moon instead of falling and hoping to catch something on the way down. Education is the most important tool in life because without it you will get nowhere and will it, there is no limit. Education is the key to life.
