Education is extremely important in our world today. We need people to receive a college education in order to be better citizens, to shape the future, and to keep the world grounded in our past. An education is needed to put more people into the work force, to have to innovation to create new jobs, and to create peace in our world.

Historically education was created in order to be a transition point from when you were a child learning about the world and your culture, to adulthood here you worked hard manual jobs. Today we still need education to put people into the job force, but its a different type of labor we need now. Today we need education to put informed citizens into the job market. We need people to gain an education so they are aware of current issues and they have the tools to solve the problems that face our society.

Education is needed to push forward innovation. Just as Steve Jobs and Bill Gates were educated and created a multibillion dollar industry in the technological sector, we need to education more innovators to move into the future. Education is necessary to solidify the ideas of innovators and creators and help them move there ideas from dreams into job creating realities.

In order to create peace we need education. I want to study foreign affairs in university. I believe that education is what is needed to push the world into peace. We need to help those without a broad worldview see the world as not just their nation, but as a whole. Education would help close the gap between nationalistic countries who believe that their way is the only correct way. It is sharing ideas that helps the world move forward. The world would nowhere if the printing press or the steam engine wasn't an idea that spread throughout nations and adopted and changed upon for the better by other countries. We need education to broaden worldviews and to learn how to share ideas and to improve upon them.

Education is needed in order to push people into the job market. This will be achieved by giving people the tools that they need in order to work in the changing market of today. Education is needed to push forward innovation and to create new jobs for the ever changing world. Finally, education is needed to broaden worldviews, create peace between nations, and to improve upon ideas that other countries are using, but we are to stubborn to adopt and adapt.
