Technology has made a very important impact on people's lives. The use of technology has become such a big part of the world we live in and is used for many jobs such as navigation, communicating with each other, and buying and selling products, as well as entertainment. It is also very useful in a classroom setting. It positively affects student engagement, motivation, and allows interactive learning experience. When students use technology for work they are more eager to learn with hands-on learning tools.
With technology, students can learn by using tablets, videos, apps, and interactive whiteboards. Using those products allows for teachers to use interactive presentation tools such as video clips and graphics which allows lessons to be taught and presented easier. I have used videos and apps for different assignments. Videos help when a teacher is explaining information I may not understand. They can refer me to different youtube videos that may have a better explanation of the information. Using apps such as a calculator or even google helps students work on assignments and find extra information.
Not only does technology provide extra teaching resources, it also allows students to learn at their own pace. Integrating technology into the teaching program may allow students who are ahead of their work continue without needing assistance from a teacher. This allows for the teacher to assist students who have fallen behind to catch up. It also allows students to learn information at their own pace without feeling rushed, so they retain the information better.
