The value of traditional education is priceless. No matter how developed the world becomes, we will always keep the power of learning as one of our highest priorities. While the concept is concrete, the advancements in technology can ease the difficulty of the learning process. I was lucky enough to be raised in a society where technology is constantly evolving before my own eyes. This convenience allows me to witness the creative ways that educators are utilizing these magnificent devices for the benefit of both the students and themselves.

My high school has optimized the use of technology by providing every student with a Chromebook that they can use throughout the whole school year. This decision changed what learning looks like. Every classroom has its own online page which is updated by the teachers every day and provides all the homework and notes that were covered during each period. This is extremely convenient for the students who are unable to attend class due to their personal life. Another immense benefit of technology is the unique and fun aspect of learning it has created. These Chromebooks enable us to search the internet for diagrams and models that help clarify tough concepts. Along with that, this technology gives us the ability to learn at our own pace without the pressure of falling behind in a class. Communication throughout the class has also peaked because of how easy messaging someone online has become. The classroom experience has transformed from unsettling and difficult to convenient and limitless due to these devices.

Technology brings a new level of education to the world that was unimaginable only a few years ago. The overall improvement this technology has achieved within a classroom is creating a connection between everyone. Students now have the ability to use simulations created by professors while also discussing concepts with fellow students all from their desks. The possibilities are endless when you have such a powerful tool in the palm of your hands. These once dull classrooms are now brought to life because of how connected people are and we have technology to thank for that.
