Path Towards Graduation by Alejandro - March 2014 Scholarship Essay

The following achievement has not yet been completed but it is a vital and in my point of view it is one of the greatest accomplishments for any person who has undergone this experience. The path was never hard as you might say, many were just struck by the idea that life would all be served in a silver platter in that testimonial it is safe to include myself. Thus that is not the case at all; fact of the matter is when people came into this world there was no manual to manufacture what could be called the perfect life. Ease was the last thing inscribed, in life obstacles and hardships are yet to come and many have been left behind. Taking that idea into mind graduation can be one of the "golden moments" you get to experience in life, reason being it can be interpreted as one of the most valuable accomplishments in anyone's life.

Why is it interpreted that way? For the same reason you got there in the first place. You managed to endure the hardships and overcome every obstacle that was placed in front of you. Every time you came back from a collapse in life, yet you managed to stand again, every moment you were at the very edge of the canyon yet you climbed up, and every time quitting was the best alternative yet you stepped out of that comfort zone and pushed further. Not to mention that there is a great window that is open in order to complete academic achievements. Even so the greatest one of all will always be graduation, why? well because it is the beginning to an end. You end the section of training to go against the real deal, and the fact you finished the training allows your knowledge and experience to all take place towards your next step in life.

The only obstacle that was ever really placed in your path was the decisions you made. Many interpret this to the negative approach in which we all describe as being lazy. Yet self-discipline and the will to achieve and succeed were always there, now it was up to you to pick those up or allow them to pass you by.
It was always in your disposition and control, the choice was yours to take many let hardships and obstacles drag them back or even stop them but the ones that did not are now mostly living the life they always desired. This is why graduation will be my greatest accomplishments alongside the ones that decided to choose the road they wanted no matter how hard it would be to cross.
