Senior season is the best season because we as students are almost done with high school! It is stressful, yet it is lively. It is that time of the year to live and have fun, but we must stay on track and be serious. My friends who is in the Yearbook class is consistently announcing that us seniors need to get our senior portraits in ASAP, in order to have a senior quote in the yearbook. Now who wouldn’t want a senior quote by any chance? Because I know I would want everyone to know my thoughts in just a fair of an amount in a sentence of my high school experience! But what would it be for me?

If I had to choose a phrase for my high school experience as my senior quote it would say “What’s the D-E-A-L y’all!”, because I am always ready to do whatever whenever. I enjoy to live in the moment, I am very adventurous, and all around going! Everytime I say that my friends laugh and always throw out all these plans bringing such a good and positive vibe. At first I just said it, but then I started to say it repeatedly. Can’t stress it enough that us as senior just continue to stress over things about college, but I never forgot how to have fun and live life. It’s important to enjoy all the things and people around you. My quote is everything to me. Maybe not to you, but to me it is not JUST a quote - it is a phrase that leads to a journey.

My quote is only unique because I have created it to be unique. I did not create it to be elegant, professional, or grammer like material - more for me as a person. When I ask “What’s the D-E-A-L y’all?!”, I imagine myself and hear myself saying it in a very amusingly funny way. The quote says it all about me the way I am adventurous, always ready to go out and do something, and more. Regardless of me being at school or in school, or at home it is my go-to quote for anything and everything - not only just another senior yearbook quote. It’s more than that. They are words that describe the person who I am.

I am looking to enjoy the rest of my senior year with my saying and be the adventurous person I am. I will continue to say “What’s the D-E-A-L y’all?!”, loud and proud where everyone can hear me.
