Certified Tutor
I am passionate about helping students because I believe that everyone has the potential to excel when given the right support and guidance. I enjoy making learning more accessible by personalizing my teaching approach to each student's unique needs and finding ways to explain complex topics in a way that makes sense to them. There's nothing more fulfilling than watching students grasp difficult concepts and grow in confidence as they improve.
I received my Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering from Michigan Technological University, and I am currently pursuing a Master's degree in Orthotics and Prosthetics at the International Institute of Orthotics and Prosthetics, where I expect to graduate in December 2024. My strong background in both engineering and healthcare gives me a deep understanding of technical subjects, and I love sharing that knowledge through tutoring.
I specialize in tutoring Math and Science, which are my favorite subjects because of the logical problem-solving skills they develop and the way they challenge students to think critically. However, I also tutor English and reading, helping students from elementary levels through SAT and ACT test prep.
My tutoring philosophy centers on making learning personalized and engaging. I strive to explain topics in a way that resonates with each student, ensuring they can relate the material to something they understand. I believe practice makes perfect, so I focus on providing plenty of opportunities for students to apply their knowledge through examples and practice problems.
Outside of tutoring, I enjoy a variety of hobbies, including mixed martial arts (MMA), reading, listening to music, and spending time with my cat at the park. These interests help me stay balanced and bring energy and focus to my teaching.

Graduate Degree: Florida International University - Master in Public Health, Orthotics and Prosthetics
When I’m not tutoring, you can usually find me either in the ring practicing MMA or relaxing with a good book—especially if it’s a non-fiction series set in alternate realities. I love getting out on the water for some kayaking adventures in the Florida ocean or mangroves, and my cat is my constant sidekick, whether she’s “helping” me clean the apartment or joining me for a stroll at the park. I also enjoy playing music, though my cat seems to think she’s the real star of the show!
