I am an English and Spanish as a Second or Other Language teacher and I have been teaching online to students from all over the world since 2015. I have a B.A. in Spanish from Wofford College. I believe language learning is a marathon and not a sprint and I do my best to encourage each of my students through this mindset. In addition, I have experience teaching Spanish to students in brick and mortar schools at the middle school and high school level and to adults who are complete beginners.

So are you ready to learn Spanish through Comprehensible Input? I mean really acquire, understand and produce the Spanish language at your own pace? Well these are the lessons for you! Whether you are have a little experience, some experience or absolutely no experience with the Spanish language, this approach will help you acquire Spanish in a fun and meaningful way.

What is Comprehensible Input (C.I.) anyway? Comprehensible Input simply refers to words and phrases that you can understand in another language through reading and/or listening at any given moment. I teach using solely this method so that you don't have to worry about boring textbooks, memorizing grammar rules or vocabulary lists or any of the painfully ineffective teaching methods you experienced in high school or college.

Each class will be specially designed to suit your needs. During these classes we will focus on all four language skills (reading, writing, listening, speaking). I will provide all of the materials for you each class. There will be articles, photo/video description activities, songs and song lyric activities, writing activities, games and much more!

These lessons are recommended for students who really want to be immersed into the Spanish language and the culture surrounding it.
