Why hire me as a tutor? My flexibility, care, and ability to change with the needs of my students. I was a stage manager for over 10 years on Broadway and on national tours and then I changed careers. I have taught math, English, science, and special education over 8 years and have an extensive knowledge of theater and magic. I approach teaching from a non "math brain" approach to make sure all of my students can understand the material. I had testing anxiety as a student and have used my past to help my approach with my students. In addition to being a teacher and tutor, I am a father so I also understand the parental side of tutoring. I am a mentor to many of my former students who have graduated and that is because I create strong relationships with my students.

Hobbies

I am a dad who enjoys spending time with his family. I have a dog as well. I love Theater production, which includes everything behind the scenes, but I also run a drama club where I help my students with acting, presenting themselves in a professional way, and tips on how to be comfortable in front of others. I enjoy playing piano, performing and teaching magic, and finding ways to help others.
