I love helping people explore their talents, learn new skills, and build their self-confidence. I utilize hands-on teaching methods that allow students to experiment and build upon their knowledge.

I have a BS in Environmental Science with an emphasis in soil science, certification as an Early Childhood Education Manager, and an MEd in Curriculum and Instruction with an emphasis in leadership and diversity, equity and inclusion.

I was an environmental educator and interpretive naturalist for 20 years and am currently a park manager.

I have a deep understanding of freshwater aquatic habitats, fish, insects, nature cycles, ecology, soil science, geology, wildlife biology, ecosystems, climate change, environmental systems, and land management.
