I have a Master's of Science degree in Horticulture from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, and also have earned two undergraduate degrees from The Ohio State University. Paramount to my success has been my deep passion for education, especially my love of math and science. In particular, I am very passionate about STEM-based curriculum (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics), because it is a paradigm that uses real-world applications to motivate students to learn.
I have tutored students at all grade levels, and tailor my approach to their learning style and their specific needs. Assessments are made to measure student strengths, and determine where a student can improve in their critical thinking processes. I also take into account the many external factors which can impede a student from learning.
There is no greater blessing than to help someone else succeed. I look forward in contributing to yours!
