I am currently a sophomore at the University of Pennsylvania. I am studying the Biological Basis of Behavior on a pre-medicine track. For 3 years in high school, I worked at the Kumon Math and Reading Center of Albuquerque as a primary instructor, and then eventually as Head of Primary Instruction and Corrections. I have a broad range of experience in tutoring different age ranges, from working with young children learning to read to adults working on brushing up their math skills. I have a strong background in both math and reading, but excel especially in reading and writing. I am a firm believer that students all learn differently, and that there are different ways to tailor their education to suit them better. I also believe that there are multiple ways to explain any single concept, and that if a student is having trouble, there will be another way to explain it to them that may make more sense. In my free time, I like to dance, binge-watch Netflix, make elaborate recipes from Pinterest, and sing.
